Walmart bundles Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus for $120 a year
Walmart is now selling its Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus memberships together for $120 a year, the company said in an Oct. 20 announcement.
Walmart said that is almost $100 less than members were paying for the two memberships separately. The bundle took effect the same day.
What members get
The combined membership includes Sam's Club access, free delivery from Walmart and Sam's Club, a choice of Peacock or Paramount+, 10 cents a gallon off gas at more than 17,000 stations, and 2% Sam's Cash on eligible purchases, according to the release.
Prices for current members
- Walmart+ annual members can switch to the bundle for $22 more a year.
- Sam's Club members can upgrade to Sam's Club Plus for $60 more a year and get Walmart+ included.
- Sam's Club Plus members can activate Walmart+ at no extra cost.
"For $120 a year, we're raising expectations for what a membership can deliver," Walmart Chief Executive John Furner said in the release.
Walmart did not say how the lower price would affect its membership income.
