SAIC hires former Northrop Grumman CFO Ken Crews as finance chief; Prabu Natarajan moves to lead civilian unit
Science Applications International Corp. is hiring Northrop Grumman's former finance chief. The Reston, Va.-based mission integrator said Tuesday that Kenneth Crews, most recently corporate vice president and chief financial officer of Northrop Grumman, will become its new CFO.
Crews, 45, joins SAIC on Oct. 30 as CFO-elect and formally takes over as executive vice president and CFO on Dec. 7, according to a regulatory filing. Current CFO Prabu Natarajan keeps the job during the handoff.
Natarajan, who had been leading SAIC's Civilian Business Group on an interim basis for several months, has been named its permanent executive vice president, the company said. He will also continue as head of Enterprise Operations and oversight of Project ORBIT.
Crews spent more than two decades at Northrop Grumman, the filing says. He became its CFO in October 2024 after serving as vice president and CFO of several sectors, including Space Systems and Mission Systems.
SAIC Chief Executive Jim Reagan said in the release that "having the right leaders in the right roles is critical to executing our strategy and accelerating growth."
Pay package
Crews will earn a $740,000 base salary with a target annual cash bonus equal to 100% of salary, plus annual long-term awards in restricted and performance stock units. He also receives a $250,000 sign-on cash payment, repayable in some circumstances if he leaves within two years, and a sign-on restricted stock award valued at $2 million that vests in two annual installments.
SAIC shares closed at $133.31 on Tuesday, little changed, ahead of the after-hours filing.
