Roper raises 2026 profit outlook after adjusted EPS climbs 15%
Roper Technologies lifted its full-year earnings outlook after third-quarter adjusted earnings per share rose 15%, beating the company's own expectations.
Roper now expects 2026 adjusted diluted EPS of $22.35 to $22.40, up from $22.15 to $22.30, according to the earnings release it filed with an 8-K on Thursday. For the fourth quarter, it expects adjusted DEPS of $5.95 to $6.00.
Revenue rose 8% to $2.17 billion, with organic growth of 7% and a one-point contribution from acquisitions. GAAP diluted EPS jumped 33% to $4.88, and adjusted DEPS rose 15% to $5.89. Adjusted EBITDA grew 7% to $864 million.
Deals and AI
During the quarter Roper spent $436 million on three bolt-on acquisitions for its iPipeline, Procare and Strata businesses and received $1.2 billion in proceeds from Indicor's sale of its instrumentation businesses, President and CEO Neil Hunn said in the release.
"We are embedding agentic solutions directly into the workflows our customers rely on every day," Hunn said, pointing to AI launches at PowerPlan, Strata and Vertafore.
He said the company has more than $6 billion of capital deployment capacity. Roper's guidance excludes unannounced deals and proceeds from Indicor's pending divestiture of its Cornell Pump and Roper Pump businesses.
