Entegris Posts Record Quarterly Sales Above $1 Billion, Up 24.6%
Entegris reported record third-quarter sales of $1.006 billion on Thursday, up 24.6% from a year earlier, as the semiconductor materials supplier said revenue, margins and earnings all came in above its own guidance range.
Non-GAAP diluted EPS rose to $1.23 from $0.72, and GAAP diluted EPS more than doubled to $1.03 from $0.46, according to the earnings release and accompanying earnings summary the company filed with an 8-K on Thursday. GAAP net income rose 123.8% to $157.8 million. Sales also climbed 13.9% from $883.2 million in the second quarter.
Purity business powers the quarter
Advanced Purity Solutions, the larger of Entegris' two segments, grew net sales 31.3% to $604.9 million. Its segment profit jumped 79.9% to $212.7 million, and the segment profit margin widened to 35.2% from 25.7%.
Materials Solutions, which supplies deposition materials, planarization slurries and pads, specialty gases and other materials, increased sales 15.9% to $404.1 million, with segment profit up 29.3% to $84.3 million.
"That growth, combined with disciplined execution, drove another strong quarter, highlighted by record revenue, continued margin expansion and strong earnings growth, all of which exceeded our guidance range," President and CEO Dave Reeder said in the release.
Margins step up
GAAP operating income rose 88.1% to $230.6 million, and adjusted operating income increased 58.2% to $269.4 million. The adjusted operating margin rose to 26.8% from 21.1% a year earlier and 24.5% in the second quarter. GAAP gross margin was 49.7%, up from 43.5%, and adjusted EBITDA reached $303.3 million, or 30.2% of sales.
The company said it received $8.3 million of refunds of IEEPA tariffs during the quarter, covering costs recognized from April 2025 through February 2026, and excluded them from its non-GAAP results.
Record cash flow pays down debt
Reeder said Entegris delivered record cash flow, which let it accelerate debt repayment. Operating cash flow was $266.8 million and free cash flow was $223.6 million, up from $191.0 million a year earlier. The company made $200.0 million of net debt payments in the quarter, and long-term debt fell to $3.26 billion from $3.84 billion a year earlier. Dividend payments totaled $15.4 million.
Fourth-quarter outlook
For the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, Entegris expects sales of $1.025 billion to $1.055 billion, GAAP diluted EPS of $1.09 to $1.17 and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $1.32 to $1.40. It sees adjusted EBITDA of about 30.7% to 31.2% of sales.
The company plans to discuss its long-term strategy in more detail at a Capital Markets Day on Nov. 9, 2026.
