BlackRock Q3 2026 earnings: adjusted EPS jumps 38% to $15.93 as AUM hits $15.5 trillion
BlackRock’s adjusted earnings jumped 38% in the third quarter to $15.93 a share, as $205 billion of net inflows pushed assets under management to $15.5 trillion, the asset manager said Wednesday in a regulatory filing.
On a GAAP basis, diluted EPS rose 25% to $10.57 from $8.43. BlackRock said GAAP results were affected by a noncash change in the fair value of contingent consideration tied to prior acquisitions, which it excluded from adjusted figures. Adjusted EPS a year earlier was $11.55.
Revenue climbed 19% to $7.75 billion, which the company attributed to market gains, organic base fee growth, higher performance fees and growth in technology services. Adjusted operating margin widened to 47.8% from 44.6%.
ETFs remained the main engine. iShares took in $135 billion of net inflows during the quarter, while active strategies drew $66 billion, led by fixed income and systematic franchises. Organic base fee growth ran at an 11% annualized pace.
Technology services and subscription revenue, which includes the Aladdin platform, rose 14% from a year earlier.
Chairman and CEO Laurence D. Fink said BlackRock is entering its “seasonally strongest fourth quarter with accelerating momentum.” He said the firm has raised $68 billion in private markets over the past 12 months.
BlackRock bought back $550 million of its shares during the quarter.
