ResMed Raises Quarterly Dividend 10% as Shareholder Returns Increase

ResMed raised its quarterly cash dividend 10% to $0.66 per share, increasing its planned return of capital to shareholders following a fiscal year of higher revenue, earnings and cash flow. The new dividend is up from $0.60 per share and will be paid Sept. 24 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 20. On an annualized basis, the new quarterly rate represents $2.64 per share.
The dividend increase comes as ResMed plans to return more than $1.85 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases during fiscal 2027. The sleep and respiratory-care company returned $1 billion to shareholders during fiscal 2026, an increase of more than 70%, while generating $1.8 billion of operating cash flow and $1.6 billion of free cash flow.
ResMed reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $5.7 billion, up 10%, while GAAP diluted earnings increased to $10.43 per share. For the fiscal fourth quarter, revenue rose 9% to a record $1.5 billion and non-GAAP diluted earnings increased 16% to $2.95 per share. The company returned $287 million to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases during the quarter while generating $455 million of operating cash flow.
The latest increase follows ResMed’s dividend raise a year earlier, when the company increased its quarterly payout to $0.60 from $0.53 per share. The new $0.66 dividend will be paid in U.S. dollars to NYSE-listed shareholders, while holders of ResMed CHESS Depositary Interests on the Australian Securities Exchange will receive an equivalent amount in Australian dollars based on the exchange rate on the record date.
